General Sports Trivia Is Fun Too Learn

If you are a sports buff then you probably already know a lot of trivia. For us that are not, it is a great idea to learn some general sports trivia. Even if you know a lot it doesn't hurt to learn more. If you ever find yourself in a conversation where you need to know some sports information then you will be glad that you learned some facts. If you just learn and memorize the facts below than you can really use them if you are in this type of a situation. Impress your family and friends- learn some sports trivia. Try and learn as much as you can. Your goal should at least be to memorize the facts below.

o Dr. James Naismith first invented Basketball while living in Massachusetts in 1891. He was Canadian. He felt that kids need to get in shape and thought that this would be a great game to play inside during the brutal Massachusetts winters.

The NHL currently has just over 80 games in the season.

In the 1990's the team that won 3 Super Bowls was the Dallas Cowboys.

o The LPGA tour in Golf has the lowest score in 18 holes as 59. This was by Annika Sorenstam in 2001.
