How to Lose Weight Fast the Truth

By Curt Joel

Many people want to lose weight quickly and safely. However evidence shows that in order to keep the weight off permanently you should strive to lose, at most, about 1-2 pounds of fat per week.

The most common mistake that people make in their attempts to lose weight is to approach weight loss as a one time thing and not a lifestyle change.

Essentially, all effective fat loss plans tend to revolve around the same basic principles in that they focus on you reducing your calorie intake. This is primarily because you need to consume less calories than what your body requires, bearing in mind that in order to shed 1lb. of fat, you'll need a deficit of 3,500 calories.

In order to shed 2lbs. of fat each week, you would need to consume a thousand calories less than you do at present per week. This is of course based on the assumption that your weight is more or less stable.

On the other hand, you can also choose to increase the amount of physical activity you're engaged in order to increase the number of calories your body burns each day. Irrespective of whether you choose to consume fewer calories or whether you decide to increase to the amount of exercise you do, both will result in immediate fat loss.

Unfortunately, these are both simplistic approaches to weight loss that don't take into account other factors like bio-individuality, hormone production, and more.

But for someone who is looking to lose fat fast, without regard to long term fat loss, this is all that you need to know.

Of course, in order for the results to be permanent, it's crucial that you acknowledge the fact that it requires a change of lifestyle rather than a one time effort.

The people who are successful with weight loss make physical activity and permanent and essential part of their daily routine. They don't think of exercise as a chore. They think of it as their escape from the daily grind. It is their refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

If you are looking to lose weight, consider making physical activity and healthy eating a part of your life. You will live longer, be happier, have more confidence, and more. The list of benefits that you will experience is too numerous to list here.

The benefits of doing daily exercise go on and on and on.

The bottom line is; if you really want to live life to the fullest, then rather than focusing on how to lose weight quickly, you should instead be thinking about a complete change of lifestyle, because that in itself will result in weight loss.
