Ed Television: Amusing yam in reference to a despondent cable Television network that plans to televise a normal man's life for every waking minute of the day and turn the meager sap into an overnight star. Cast includes Matthew McConaughey, Jenna Elfman, Woody Harrelson, Sally Kirkland, Martin Landau, Ellen DeGeneres, Rob Reiner, and Dennis Hopper. (133 minutes, 1999)

Jack London: Hokey, episodic "biography" of famed author invests too much time maligning Japanese which was assumed to give topical slope to this period drama in 1943 Cast includes Michael O'Shea, Susan Hayward, Osa Massen, Harry Davenport, Frank Craven, and Virginia Mayo. (94 minutes, 1943)

Strange Interlude: Talky Eugene O'Neill play gets to be marathon of central opinions exposed only to spectators in journal of Gable, Shearer. It is about growing old without settling their complications. This is a preoccupying film, with Shearer at her brilliant best. Cast includes Norma Shearer, Clark Gable, Might Robson, Maureen O'Sullivan, Robert Youthful, Ralph Morgan, Henry B. Walthall, and Alexander Kirkland. (110 minutes, 1932)

The Nutty Professor: Sherman Klump is a goofy chemistry professor who's grossly obese. When he meets an attractive instructing assistant, he's inspired to try his chemistry knowledge on DNA, reorganizing himself into a super stud. Eddie is appealing and persuading as the prof, and humorous as his doppelganger. Cast includes Eddie Murphy, Jada Pinkett, James Coburn, Dave Chappelle, Larry Miller, and John Ales. (95 minutes, 1996)

Bootleggers: An action comedy set in 1930s Arkansas with Koslo and Fimple trying to outsmart and outdo opponent moonshining family when running their booze to Memphis. Cast includes Paul Koslo, Dennis Fimple, Thin Pickens, and Jaclyn Smith. (101 minutes, 1974)

The Alannist: Eccentric and choppy black comedy in reference to a novice door to door security alarm sales man (Arquette) who finds that his manager and self-fashioned mentor (Tucci) is a crook. Then the youthful gentleman falls in love with his first client (Capshaw). Cast includes David Arquette, Stanley Tucci, Kate Capshaw, Mary McCormack, Ryan Reynolds, and Tricia Vessey. (93 minutes, 1998)

The Reckless Moment: Mason blackmails protective mom Bennett, whose adolescent baby girl has been engaged in a guy's mortality. Noirish melodrama is additionally a slyly subversive peek at a "common" American family. Cast includes James Mason, Joan Bennett, Geraldine Brooks, Henry O'Neill, and Shepperd Strudwick. (82 minutes, 1949)

Mr. Nanny: Lame brained comedy characterizing Hogan as a fighter employed to look after a set of ruined, disregarded rich kids (whom nut ball Johansen is plotting to abduct). Cast includes Terry "Hulk" Hogan (Bollea), Sherman Hemsley, Austin Pendleton, Robert Gorman, Madeline Zima, and David Johansen. (84 minutes, 1984)

Ruby's Fantasy: Smooth although typical drive-in fare in regards to a shell-stunned Vietnam vet who finds himself the object of an enormous manhunt in a small Alabama town. It is the same elementary tale as First Blood which came later. Cast includes Linda Blair, Ben Johnson, Matt Clark, and Richard Famsworth. (91 minutes, 1982)
