Some Straightforward Movie Outlines

By Gabriel Bright

It wasn't that long ago that a trip to the corner video shop was the most convenient way to get a movie. Instead of buying or renting the dvd, people now can choose a movie download instead. Following is a list of a few movies that you can get using a movie download site.

No Looking Back: A love triangle grants fine lead role for Holly as waitress with a simple but going nowhere life with boyfriend Bon Jovi thrown off balance by the return of old darling Burns. A desirable cast couldn't make this work. Cast includes Lauren Holly, Edward Burns, Jon Bon Jovi, Blythe Danner, and Connie Britton. (96 minutes, 1998)

Lock Up: Frank Leone's prison sentence is almost up. He is suddenly transferred to a high security lock up with Warden Drumgoole in charge. This is bad news for Leone. This warden has it in for Leone, and getting through his last 6 months will be hell.

Marked for Death: Recognizable, mindless action movie with ex-drug representative Seagal taking on Jamaican pill pushers who've, as the title affirms, marked him and his family for extinction. Cast includes Steven Seagal, Basil Wallace, Keith David, Tom Wright, Joanna Pacula, Danielle Harris, and Jimmy Cliff. (94 minutes, 1990)

Hold Back the Dawn: First-rate soap of gigolo Boyer wedding to help spinsterish Olivia to get into U.S. That's Leisen in the Hollywood soundstage pattern, prompting Veronica Pond and Brian Donlevy in I Wanted Wings. Catch this one. Cast includes Charles Boyer, Olivia de Havilland, Pauleue Goddard, Champ Francen, Walter Abel, and Rosemary DeCamp. (115 minutes, 1941)

Unlawful Entry: Michael and Karen Carr have had a chilling experience. Someone broke into their house, and tried to rob them. When Officer Pete Davis shows up to help, out he seems like a godsend. In the days to come they find officer Davis might be their worst nightmare.

Mr. Quilp: Amusing lyrical rendition of Dickens' The Old Shop with melodies by Newley and lyrical score by Elmer Bernstein. Lighthearted till last reel when it goes earnest in the Dickens vein. Cast includes Anthony Newley, David Hemmings, David Warner, Michael Hordern, Jill Bennett, and Sarah Jane Vadey. (118minutes, 1975)

Wild Wild West: This is a big screen adaptation to the old TV series of the same name. James West and his buddy Artemus Gordon are determined to stop the evil Dr. Arliss Loveless, who is planning to assassinate the president. Will Smith stars as James West.

Delirious: An entertaining satire of fame and stardom as seen through the beady, bitter eyes of uncouth NYC paparazzo Buscemi. He grudgingly befriends a destitute performer, the optimistic Pitt who, obviously, might just become a big star. DiCillo inscribed this for Buscemi and together they have virtually as much fun as in their first teaming, Living in Oblivion. Cast includes Steve Buscemi, Michael Pitt, Alison Lohman, Gina Gershon, Kevin Corrigan, Tom Aldredge, Lynn Cohen, and Elvis Costello. (107 minutes, 2007)

Nothing To Lose: Nick Bearns is having a bad day. He just caught his wife in bed with his boss. Now he is being carjacked while sitting at a stoplight. Angry and feeling he has nothing to lose, he turns the tables on the crook, and kidnaps him. Eventually these two misfits collaborate to get back at Nick's boss is this fun filled comedy.

A phrase like "Online Kids Movies" might get a good result. If that phrase gets you nowhere, try another phrase. We would recommend trying "Free Movie Online" for new search results.
